Sanctuary Fragile

The scowl on Anson Hunt’s face should have been my first warning to steer clear. Add in his sexy smirk and the fact that he happens to be my brother’s best friend, and that’s reasons two and three right there. On top of all that, he’s also the new contractor working on my house. He’s everything I’m not: crabby, impolite, and seems to prefer his own company. No matter how hard I try to be nice to him, he remains stubbornly closed off. But then, everything changes when I hit rock bottom and Anson is there to catch me. Slowly, he begins to reveal a softer side, especially as mysterious accidents start occurring in my life and he steps up to protect me. In the midst of all this, a spark of attraction ignites between us, quickly turning into a passionate fire that consumes us both. However, Anson harbors dark secrets, and they come at a cost.
